Kellie Martin is an American actress and film director best known as Christy Huddleston in the period drama 'Christy", Rebecca Thatcher on the show about family Life Goes On> and Lucy Knight for the medical drama ER. In addition, she is famous for her role as the main character in her own Hailey Dean Mystery television series. Martin was born to a department store buyer as well as a kindergarten instructor. Her first acting experience was in the age of seven when her aunt, who was a nanny in Michael Landon's family, helped Martin find a role as in the television show Father Murphy. Following her graduation from Yale University, she took acting more seriously, and eventually landed substantial roles, both on the smaller and large screen. Martin has a background as an actor, in addition to a gifted photographer and dancer has been in the business for over twenty years.
